Since 2015, EICRedinburgh.com has served as a trusted hub for electrical safety across Edinburgh and the Lothians. Over the past decade, we have evolved from a local electrical service platform into an independent, dedicated resource connecting property owners with qualified, certified electricians.

Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) can be complex, but staying compliant and keeping properties safe should be straightforward.

• For Homeowners & Landlords: We provide clear, unbiased guidance on Scottish electrical safety standards, legal requirements for rental properties, and the inspection process itself. Our curated directory connects you directly with vetted, approved local electrical contractors ready to carry out inspections, testing, and remedial work.
• For Edinburgh Electricians: We offer a platform to showcase your qualifications, connect with local landlords and homeowners, and grow your client base in a community that values verified competence and high standards.

EICRedinburgh.com operates independently. We do not charge property owners to browse or contact tradespeople. Our platform is supported by the trusted local electricians listed in our directory.

When you book an inspection or request a quote through one of our listed professionals, please mention that you found them on EICRedinburgh.com—it helps support the platform and ensures we can continue providing free, impartial safety guidance for Edinburgh.
